As a critical-care physician, I spent years standing beside patients at the very edge of life - watching extracorporeal support do what nothing else could, and knowing how much every tube, pump and circuit truly matters. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I crossed to the other side of that machine. I became the patient. My own life was sustained on ECMO, and I am here today as an ECMO survivor.
That experience changed everything. I have felt, in my own body, the fragile margin between life and loss that these technologies hold open. I know what it means for a family to wait while a machine breathes for someone they love. Sardhara Medical was born from that understanding - from a conviction that the systems supporting life at its most fragile moments deserve uncompromising engineering, rigorous quality and genuine clinical empathy.
As Founding Directors, my brother Mr. Vivek R. Sardhara and I set out to build more than a company - we set out to build a quality culture. Every decision we make, from the first line of a design input to the final inspection of a device, is weighed against a single question: is this safe and effective for the patient and the clinician who depends on it? For me, that patient is never abstract. I have been that patient.
We are proud to be building this from India, and we are building it to serve the world. Our commitment is to develop extracorporeal and critical-care systems that meet the highest international standards, and to earn the trust of every clinician and institution we work with - so that more patients are given the second chance I was fortunate to receive.
On behalf of the Board, thank you for your interest in Sardhara Medical. We look forward to building the future of critical care together.
